"Noisy indie rock band, Dirtblonde have released a new double-A side single on Monday 19 April with record label Filthy Little Angels.
Two tracks, Brooklyn and White Horses, are available as a free download and also on limited edition cassette tape. White Horses is the loudest track, powered by heavy beats and wall of sound guitars. Brooklyn is inspired by the band’s mini-tour of New York and is a melancholic slacker-pop song about paranoia and alienation in an unfamiliar city.
The single will also be downloadable from the Filthy Little Angels website, where there will be a bonus track available. The extra track will be a cover of a song by The Colt 45’s (another band on the FLA label) called Stockholm Syndrome.
The limited edition cassette tape will be on sale at Dirtblonde gigs or by mail order. It will include original artwork, a customised tape and a different bonus track; a rock’n’poetry track called Badlands."
Individual tracks can be downloaded from the band's website.
