The Sound of Belgium is a Belgian documentary by Jozef Devillé. It explores the rich but untold story of Belgian dance music. From the dance halls with Decap organs to the golden days of Popcorn. From EBM and New Beat to Belgian House and Techno.
There's a special screening this Thursday in Brussels (9PM & 10:30PM), in order to raise money and pay for the visual and music rights (one more reason in my opinion to do away with the outdated idea of copyrights). Anyway, 15€ will get you in and also in the documentary's credit list. More info as well as the official trailer on The Sound of Belgium.
