The Sundays - John Peel Session (1989)

According to a recent interview given by Harriet Wheeler and David Gavurin to American Airlines' inflight magazine (yep, true story!) (*) the Sundays may at some point in the future release new material and even play live shows. On the off chance that this information is true, we might as well start setting some money aside now, especially if they decide to do their reunion tour in the Galapagos islands and other exotic places like that!

(*) I'm not jealous that the Sundays chose an airline magazine to reveal their musical projects rather than, I don't know, a fine music blog like this one for example, but this could just be a publicity stunt by the airline company. I mean, do the Sundays think that the readership of American Way is going to jump in excitement out of their economy-class seats (**) at reading this? Or is the airline company simply trying to create an internet buzz around its newly relaunched brand? Only time will tell...

(**) which I'm sure are not only competitively-priced but also comfortable with ample space for your legs (I'm just being careful, even when bankrupt these companies still have teams of well-paid lawyers at their disposal ;-)

  1. Wow, this would be amazing if this is true and they do release new material and tour, especially the UK. Jason.
